Welcome to the home of LuLu May

We got this for LuLu for Christmas ( which reminds me that I never posted those pics either) and she loves it.... We put it in her playroom and she acts like a little Mommy. She will sit in the chairs that are built in and wash her hands in the sink or grab the phone and chat . She is so crazy about owning her first home! Chris and I try to crawl in and sit down but she feels crowed and most often pushes us out of the way.

Elmo Comforter...

Mad love for ELMO!!

This pic was taken prior to the below " first hair cut" pics.. check out the mullet!!

I bought this Elmo comforter on the internet. Needless to say she LOVED it! The first time I gave it to her she placed it on the floor and layed on it. She will even kiss Elmo on the mouth like he is real . It is crazy how much she truly loves this big red puppet creature!!

We took Lulu to Sweet and Sassy and got her first haircut. She was starting to grow a mullet and it as much needed. She hated most all of the process regardless of all the distractions ( elmo shoes, bubbles, toys, boo boo) . Her hair looks fabulous now and is much thicker and has been growing so much faster..... BYE BYE baby hair :( !!!!

Croup, Pneumonia... Pneumonia... Pneumonia

LuLu has been sick since Dec 13th. She had croup and then Pneumonia ( HORRIBLE) she had steriods, four antibiotics and finally Rocephin. It has been a crazy , sick , no fun past month and a half. I have neglected by blogging for seveal reasons , but mostly because there is little time when you have a sick child. I thank God that she is better and has been back to herself!!! I posted a few pics below from Saturday morning of her and Elmo. My Mamaw kept this couch that she is sitting on in the below pictures. It was mine and my sister's couch that our Grandma and Grandpa gave us when we were little. It is around 23 years old and looks brand new!! I was so happy that Mamaw kept it in her attic for me. I got it out Saturday and cleaned it up and she has been on it ( with Elmo) every since!!

Vocabulary

Lyla Brooke amazes me with all the words that she says. I feel like she says something new every day. She can also count to three perfectly and can go up to ten ( missing a few numbers here and there). We started counting as we walk up the stairs and my mom counts out her Teddy Grahams each day at meal time so she was able to pick up on number very quickly.
