Over and Under.

Lyla Brooke started crawling when she was six months old. Since this time she has been crawling into and under everything that she can find. She loved crawling under her exersuacer to get her pacis that had fallen underneath. The crib was another favorite hiding spot .

Easter 2008.. a little late.

Wow! I am so behind on this. Well, Lyla Brooke had a wonderful first Easter. We were able to spend some time with our family once again which was nice. Mamaw made a great Easter feast for us all!!! Just wanted to say thanks to Dawn who did a wonderful job making Lyla Brooke's dress!

Pulling to stand by 7 months.

Lyla Brooke is almost 9 months old ( yes I am very behind on blogging) however she learned to pull to stand when she was 7 months old. I thought I was post a few pics of her new skill.

Once again Daddy was in the backseat and the result was not good...

The suction cup!

Excited that the suction cup was gone.
The suction cup was gone but she was still keeping an eye on Daddy to make sure he was not going to do it again.

On Mothers Day we went to eat at Outback. Chris rode in the backseat because we had other people in our car. He loves to " pest" Lyla Brooke so he found a suction cup in the back seat and decided it would be fun to stick it to Lyle Brooke's head and take pictures. My husband is crazy but that is why I love him.

I had such a great first Mothers Day!! Chris got up with Lyla Brooke and let me sleep in and then we went to a brunch at our church at 10:30 that was fabulous. I was able to spend the day with my family and it was wonderful. We all went to dinner at Outback that night. I got the Goo Goo Dolls greatest hits from Chris and Lyla Brooke and anyone who knows me knows that I was THRILLED about that!
