A New Toy for Me?

Last week Chris and I decided that Lyla Brooke needed a bouncy seat. She has one at Nana and Grandad's house and loves it. Chris stopped on his way home from work and picked this one up for her. It lights up, plays music and has toys that hang for her to play with. She is so funny because she hits the parrot's tail and loves to watch him spin. She is a smart girl!!!

And these are a few of my favorite things

PF Changs and Titans football...it doesn't get much better than that.

Happy Fall!!

Last weekend Chris and my dad did a little landscaping at our house. I went over to my mom's house to hang out with Lyla Brooke while they finished up. My mom and I took her outside to see the beautiful fall leaves and so that she could feel the cool breeze. I just love fall weather. We put her super soft hat on that they had just bought her at Pottery Barn but it was a little big so we had to roll it up in the front. She was more interested in chewing on her hand than enjoying the scenery.

My birthday.

My birthday was Nov. 4th and yes I am a little late with this post. I have been so busy I have not had an oppurtnity to blog. Chris took me to Chaffins Barn Dinner Theatre to celebrate. I love to go there and watch the plays. The dinner was not all that great and I actually left hungry because I picked at the food , but I always have such a wonderful time when I go. We saw the play Run for Your Wife and it was so funny. We laughed during the entire play. The next day my parents took me to PF Changs which I love. I always get Chang's Spicy Chicken and Chow Mein with vegtables ( I eat alot when we go there). I got cute clothes from Victoria's Secret PINK collection from my sister and parents! I had such a wonderful birthday and I could not have asked for anything better!

These are before and during our Chaffins Barn outing. We were acting goofy during some of them. And Chris took the one of my teeth because he said I had lipstick all over them. Ha! Enjoy.

Bored and looking for entertainment....

Today Chris took off to hang out with me and Lyla Brooke because I was sick last night and she has been sick all week. We had to find something to do while our house was being cleaned because I like to leave to get out of the way. We decided to come over to my dad and mom's house and hang out. We watched TV and a movie and then I decided that I wanted to take some pictures of my sweet Lyla Brooke while she was sleeping on daddy . Our camera was at home charging so I had to find my mom and dad's camera. I found the camera as well as some other fun things that they had stashed away in their drawers. I found these fun 80's glasses that my mom had as well as a pair of sunglasses that were mine and my sisters from the 80's as well. I was so bored that I decided to put them on and suprise my husband who was asleep with the baby on the couch. He loved the new look!
